CUB MOB - a worthy example of business

Gabriel -Ionel and Angela Banea's story is a Romanian example of the "American dream" accomplished through hard work and materialized in a prosperous business. Their company, SC CUB MOB SRL, started in 1997 and operates in furniture production.

Although the furniture production market went through various challenges, the Baneas had always found a way to adapt to the challenges. If in 2000, when the company contracted the first loan from CHF, the company produced massive furniture pieces, nowadays it produces household and office furniture from OSB.

Overtime, with the help of the Express Finance loans, SC CUB MOB SRL has extended its activity, producing both based on orders from beneficiaries, and serial furniture pieces. By means of the 15 loans from CHF and Express Finance, as well as its high capacity to adapt to the costumers' demands, the company managed to extend to address a greater range of clients. SC CUB MOB SRL gradually extended its furniture distribution area to several cities from the country.

Presently, CUB MOB SRL takes pride in the high quality products it provides for its clients, in the promptitude with which it meets its costumers' requests, as well as in the store opened for direct sales of the furniture it produces.

Interior Decorations may bring a Fortune

Mircea Ţibuleac is one of the many people in Sibiu who decided to control their own destiny. That is why, in 1994, he set up SC AXIS GRUP LTD, a company which manufactured interior decorations in metal.
 
Mircea started with a small wokshop where entrance doors, steel grids were created, as well as small decorations in wrought iron (chairs, tables, candlesticks, bottle-holders) created at customers’ orders; a few months later, he opened his own showroom in the historical downtown of Sibiu. The company is the single importer and distributor of a universal cutting machine (for tiles, carpet, windows, mirror, roof tiles, and faience) produced in Germany.

Because his shop has a special location, and products are more and more asked by customers, Mircea Ţibuleac needed additional financial resources to buy raw materials and inventory. For this purpose, he applied for a loan at our institution. In March 2004, Mircea had a $5,000 loan to continue the manufacturing and selling business.

The showroom exhibits a wide range of objects in wrought iron that please many inhabitants of Sibiu. At present, AXIS GRUP LTD. looks for an investor in the development of the manufacturing on a large scale, and also to enter on the international market.

Automotive Parts, the Formula for Success

REVERS MIXT COM LTD. is a growing enterprise in Drobeta-Turnu Severin in Mehedinţi County.  The owners, Marin Boiangiu and his wife, Mioara, began their automotive spare parts and vehicle accessory business in 1997.

Starting out with a small workshop, they knew they would need additional funds to expand their business.  In September 2000, they requested a $10,000 loan, repayable within 24 months.  Because business was good, they were able to pay off the loan with no penalties or late payments, as well as apply for a second loan.

With the second loan they were able to acquire raw materials and stock merchandise. Their gross income exploded from over 350 million lei a year in August 2000 to a little over one billion lei by July 2001. 
Till now, the Boiangius had no less than sixteen loans with CHF. The last business loans were used to build a new commercial facility downtown Drobeta Turnu Severin and buy the necessary equipment for this purpose.

Express Finance Brings your Dream to Life

Zsolt Megyesfalvi is a hard-working man in Târgu Mures, putting in long hours at his retail and wholesale fruit business, SC FRUTTI LTD.  His business consists of a retail store that offers a wide variety of goods, including fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, milk, coffee, juice, snacks, and other basic foods.  Next door is the wholesale department, from which he delivers fruit to customers as far as 60 km away; as well as a commercial space for future retail of electronic goods.

Mr. Megyesfalvi started his retail business in 1991 with a single employee, then, in 1993, he added the wholesale business.  In 1997, he moved his business into a new building on his own property, where he is today.

In 2003, he came to our institution for his first loan, which he used to purchase inventory.  In 2004, he applied for a second loan to purchase a Mercedes Benz microbus.   His business has grown so much that he now employs a staff of 16, including six men and 10 women.

With the arrival in Târgu Mureş of major foreign competitors, Zsolt plans to diversify the company's activity from wholesale and into more retail, and eventually into transporting passengers in maxi taxis and in buses that will travel beyond Romania’s borders.
